About myself
Dr. Christian Terboven studied computer science at RWTH Aachen University and specialized on High Performance Computing. He is a senior scientist at the Chair for Computer Science 12 – High Performance Computing and the Chief HPC Officer at the IT Center. His research interests center around Parallel Programming and related Software and Performance Engineering aspects. Dr. Terboven has been involved in the Analysis, Tuning and Parallelization of several large-scale simulation codes for various HPC architectures, and has published over 60 papers on this subject.

- Principal Investigator (PI) and project lead in most of our large projects, including NHR4CES as the National HPC Center, WestAI as the AI Service Center, POP as the EU Center of Excellence project on performance and productivity, and so forth...
